DGP Sentences/diagrams

 Week 8 (November 2-6) we dont need any new paint for the project
 
Day 1:  Write out the sentence and idenity parts of speech including nour, pronoun (type and case) verb (type and tense), adverb, adjective, preposition, conjunction (type), and article.
 (See appendix for definitions)
 
Example:  the mouse went into the hole

Day 2: Write out the sentence and identify:
 
1.  Sentence purpose:  declarative, imperative, interrogative or exclamatory
2.  Underline the complete subject with one line and the complete predicate with two lines
3.  Identify direct object, indirect object, phrases, clauses
4.  Identify sentence style:  simple, compound, complex

4.  Simple sentence
 
Day 3:  Write out the sentence and punctuate.
