About The Teacher

This will be my fourth year teaching third grade.  I am very exciting about 
the upcoming year. I have had a great, restful summer and am looking forward 
to meeting new faces at school.  
I am married to Kevin Rigsby, who teaches at the Middle School.  My 
daughter's name is Laurie.  She just turned two this past June.  I enjoy 
traveling and spending time with my immediate and extended family.

Mission Statement for Class

I will be the best me today!  I will help others and be a friend to those in 
need.  I will praise my friends when I see them doing good and will gently 
remind them when they are not following the procedures.  I will build others 
up.  I will use good manners.  I will smile and be happy for I have much to 
be thankful for.  I have gifts and talents and I will use them today.
I may fail sometimes, but that's o.k..
I will succeed...
I am special...
And I can make a difference!!
