Hello! My name is Mrs. Jennifer Griffith. I am married to Chris Griffith and
we have one daughter Kiersten. I graduated from DeKalb County High School in
1997 and went on to Tennessee Technological University and received a
Bachelors of Science Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies (Grades 1-8). In
2001, I went back to school and completed my Master's and Educational
Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership with a concentration in School
Administration. This is my fourth year teaching.
I want every child to feel challenged and successful. I want to meet this
goal my providing a hands on classroom in which students work together to
achieve higher order thinking skills and problem solving abilities. I do not
believe education should tell students the answers, but rather have them
explore, think, and communicate their own ideas/hypothesis. As a child
around 12 years of age, I was once told two quotes that have impacted me
throughout my lifetime:
1. If you can try it,
you can achieve it.
If you can dream it,
you can become it.
2. A person can take everything you own, but they cannot take the
knowledge from your head.
