Does being tardy or leaving early count against perfect attendance?
Yes. Our attendance is computerized and sent to the state every day. Anytime
you sign your child in late or sign your child out early, that counts against
their attendance...even if it is only 5 minutes.

Can parents park on the bus side and pick kids up from the car line?
No. State law specifies that bus pick-up and car pick-up must take place in
two separate areas. Also, it is extremely dangerous for students and parents
to cross in front of buses. Bus drivers have so many things to watch for,
such as students getting on the bus and students who are already on the
bus. They are not expecting students to be crossing in front of the bus.

Can parents park on the car side and walk to pick kids up from the car line?
Yes. There is so much traffic during that time that we ask parents to please
wait in the car line unless they have an emergency or an appointment so that
we don't have students crossing in front of cars. It is unsafe and many times
holds our car line up. While the car line looks long, it really does move
rather quickly. We would sure appreciate everyone's cooperation in this
matter!
