| Attention Students:
TERRA NOVA IS HERE!!! [April 14-18]
Plan on going to bed early every night and then getting up and eating a good
and nutritious breakfast before you come to school.
If you can do at least 30 jumping jacks before you head out the door, you
will get your blood flowing to your brain.
Right before your test begins, practice breathing in slowly through your
nose and exhaling through your mouth. The oxygen will help you to think more
clearly and will also keep you calm and relaxed.
You will succeed, so just relax and do your best!!!!
5th Graders- You only have 2 more months of school here at Northside. Enjoy
every minute of your time here, and don't forget to learn as
much as you can from your teachers so that you will be fully
prepared for the 6th grade!!!
We are all so very proud of you!!!
3rd and 4th Graders- You will soon be the 'upper classmen' here at
Northside, so keep on encouraging one another to
possess good character traits so that you will be a
positive role-model for next year's 3rd graders.
Also, remember to work on and master your
multiplication facts. If you have a hard time
memorizing your facts, then make up a
silly little rhyme. For example...
"Chicks, chicks- dirty chicks.
6 X 6 is 36."
OR
"She ate and she ate- now she sticks through the door.
8 X 8 is 64."
You MUST know your multiplication facts before you
return next year!
REMEMBER: Who you are speaks so loudly I can't hear what you're
saying.

***Early Sign-Outs/Tardies- Remember that you must have a note to be excused!
ATTENTION ALL CAR-RIDERS!!!
Just as a reminder, no car-riders may load on the bus pick-up side of the
building. Unless you have an appointment or an emergency, we will ask you to
wait in the pick-up line for your child.
On those occasions when you must walk over to pick up your child, be sure
you
park in the parking lot.
Please do not park on the bus side of the parking lot. THANK YOU!!!
