I am excited to teach 3rd grade this year. I have always wanted to teach
third grade because I love doing multiplication! This is my second year
teaching at Oakdale, but I have been teaching for four years. I graduated
from Oakdale High School in 1996. I have a Bachelor's degree in Financial
Institutions Management from MTSU and a Master's degree in Elementary
Education from the University of Phoenix. I am married to Larry Clark, who
goes by the name of "Peanut". We have two daughters. Amelia is five and
Madelyn is two. We have a miniature schnauzer named Cyrus after Miley
Cyrus/Hannah Montana. We attend Pine Orchard Baptist Church where I am a
Sunday School teacher for grades 1 - 3.
My mission for the class this year is to ensure everyone has fun in a safe
and effective learning environment. I want my students to enjoy school and
look forward to coming each day. I believe that students who enjoy school do
much better work and have more success than those who do not. It is my goal
for each student to be successful this year.
