for each scholarship you are trying to win. Applying for scholarships can be
time consuming and takes dedication and motivation. No one is going to track
you down to give you a scholarship; you need to do the legwork yourself. So
when you find awards with eligibility criteria that you can meet, contact the
provider and request a scholarship application packet.

Tennessee Technological University's - TTU - deadline for
scholarships is December 15.

Middle Tennessee State University's - MTSU - deadline for
scholarships is in February.

Coca Cola Scholarship
The BWXT Y-12 Scholarship Fund has been established at East
Tennessee Foundation for the benefit of graduating high school
seniors wishing to pursue careers in science, math or pre-
engineering-related fields. The Fund will offer a one-time non-
renewable $1,500 scholarship to a graduating senior from a high
school located in one of the following counties: Anderson,
Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Knox, Loudon, Morgan, Roane,
and Sevier. The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student
at either Roane State Community College or Pellissippi State
Technical Community College. Completed applications must be
received by East Tennessee Foundation or postmarked no later than
March 14.
BWXT Y-12 Scholarship Fund
Ruby A. Brown Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship is open to
public health nurses seeking to continue their nursing
education. It is a one-year scholarship - up to $3250.00.
Completed applications must be received by East Tennessee
Foundation or postmarked no later than April 25.

National Eagle Scout Scholarship - This scholarship is open to
students who have achieved Eagle Scout Status in the Boy Scouts.
