Your homework will usually be based on completion. You will have a homework
sheet on which you will collect stamps. I will give you a stamps for each
assignment you have completed. These stamps are worth ten points each.
At the end of the 4 1/2 and 9 weeks you will turn in your stamps sheet for

What happens if we are late or absent?

I follow the OSHS attendance policy. PLEASE BE ON TIME! If you are not in
the room when the bell rings, you are tardy. Your tardies are recorded on a
tardy card. A fifth tardy will result in a detention, and
subsequent tardies will result in a principal referral/call home/conference.

We miss you when you are gone! If, however, you are absent, as it may
happen, check the classroom activities list to see if you have missed any
handouts. Ask a classmate for missed notes. Please be prepared to make up a
missed quiz or test on the day that you return. If you miss class, but are
in school the day an assignment is due, it is your responsibility to turn in
the assignment on that day. If you know you are going to be gone for an
extended time, we can make alternate arrangements, but please come and talk
with me.

for myself) and I am confident that with dedication, hard work,
perseverance, and effort, we will make this year a success together! This is
a learning experience, and in learning, we all mistakesthat is part of the
journey. Please know, however, that I am here to support you along that
journey. We are along for the ride together!
