Do I have to take a Gateway for English 10?

English 10 has a required Gateway test.  Students who attend and 
participate
in class should have no difficulty passing the Gateway test.  The 
Gateway
score is part of the final class grade and a passing score is 
required for
graduation.

Do you give extra credit?

Extra credit is given within the assignments, projects and 
tests.  Other 
extra
credit(play attendance and outside events) will be announced and 
written on
the board.

Class Rules and Expectations

I expect each student to know and follow the Roane Schools Code 
of Conduct 
Booklet.  Class rules and information sheets will be given the 
first week of 
school and require a parent and student signature prior to filing 
the sheet 
in the student notebook.
RIGHTS and RESPONSIBILITIES
1) You have the right to a safe environment.
   You have the responsibility to follow safety rules.
2) You have the right to voice your opinion.
   You have the responsibility to respect the opinion of others.
3) You have the right to use school books,materials, and 
equipment.

materials.
