I grew up in Jamestown, Tennessee. My parents, Betty and Bill
Bowden, own and operate Fentress Courier, a weekly newspaper and
printing company. After graduating from Alvin C. York Institute in 1996, I
attended college at Tennessee Tech University, graduating in 1999. I then
began teaching in Fentress County, where I taught for four years. This is my
seventh year at Prescott. I received my Master's Degree in Instructional
Leadership in 2007 and my Specialist's Degree in Instructional Leadership in
2008. I am married to Jason Tinch, who works at Averitt Express, and we have a
nine-year-old daughter named Lexi and a two-year-old Boxer named Cam.
