Whats your policy to make up work?

According to the PCMS absent policy, you will have as many days as you were
absent to make up
work. However, it is the student's responsibility to come up to their teachers
with their planners
(before or after class) and ask what work they missed.

My kid never brings anything home, how do I know what work they have?

Each child was given a planner at the begining of the year. They are told to
write down their assignments for the week in the planner every day. Even if
there is no homework that night, they should write "none," "nhw," or any other
code so you as the parent know what is going on. A parent is supposed to sign it every night as well.

How do I get ahold of my child's teacher?

A folder goes home every Friday. You are welcome to write a note to the
teacher (they check it for signatures), you can call the school, or email the
teacher.
