I am married to Greg Howell and have a 21 year old son, Jordan. My husband is
disabled due to the loss of an eye and he is a cancer survivor. I am proud of
him for continuing to do what he can for others. He stays very active and
feels blessed that he still has good health. Jordan is a Junior at TTU
majoring in Counseling. It is a joy to see him as he matures to a
caring, responsible adult. All our hard work is now paying off!
My father is 91 years old and my mother is 86 years old. They are part of the
dwindling "Greatest Generation". I have a sister and two brothers who all
live within 150 miles of Cookeville. We are all very good friends as well as
family. I am a very blessed person!
I have a Master's Degree in Education and am highly qualified to teach grades
1-8 in all subjects. I have taught all subjects and this is my second year to
teach language.
I have had a restful summer and am excited to learn with your children. This
will be a very special year because it is the last year for PCMS to be a
school. Our new school called Prescott South Middle School will open next fall.
My mission is to help your children grow into successful adults who will be
able to strengthen the great country in which we live. My year will be a small
step toward the overall effort of you and society to mold a happy, responsible
adult. I will teach the skills required by the state of Tennessee in a safe,
enjoyable environment. I am aware of the active environment in which we live
and I design my classroom with that in mind. I use a blend of quiet
assignments and interactive tasks.
