What is Wesley Woods?
This is a 3 day and 2 nights stay in the Smokey Mountains. This is a
naturalist camp. Boys stay in cabins and girls in a lodge. Meals are
provided and their naturalist teachers take the kids, teachers, and parents on
hikes teaching the students about the environment and our echosystem.
What is team time?
This is the time set aside each month to reward students who have
received less than a certain number of life skills for a normal week. We
do a variety of
activities for the students.
What will math be like.
.Great! I am sending a letter to parents and students at the first of school.
I hope it answers your questions. Everyone can learn math. You do your work
and ask questions, and I will do everything in my power to help you
understand....a deal?
What about cell phones?
If a cell phone has to be brought to school, it must stay in the child's
locker. Text messaging during class and at recess was such a problem,
especially after Christmas when so many kids got them. I know you would want
your child giving school their best shot. We also had some "I'm mad at you!"
texting which caused added problems. If we see them, we will take them to the
office.
