How much time does my student have for make-up work?

Per school policy, a student has two days after an excused 
absence to complete make-up work.

Does my student have the opportunity for extra credit?

Yes. A student may make corrections to any lesson or test for 
extra credit. Opportunities to do extra credit projects or work
packets are also provided.

Does my student need to get the assignment book signed each night?

Yes. The assignment book is a communication tool and needs to be 
signed each evening.

Does my student need to read each evening?

Yes. Reading every evening will help your student achieve his/her 
reading goal and make your student a better reader.

What is expected of my student?

Your student is expected to come to class prepared to work, 
complete assigments, pay attention, follow directions, be
respectful of others and others' possessions, and to do their
level best.

Should my student have a lot of classwork to do at home?

Students are provided class time after each lesson to begin their 
assignments. If they use their time wisely, and unless there are
extenuating circumstances, students should not be bringing home
massive amounts of work.
