Announcements for the week of October 16th-20th
Thank you so much for your support!
If you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns don't hesitate to share!

Fall Break: I hope everyone had a happy, restful Fall Break. Now that we have returned I will be retesting for a final time this week to complete report cards. A sheet was sent home last Friday that identified specific areas that your child needs to work on. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.Thank you!
Zoo Field Trip: Our first field trip of the year has been scheduled. We will attend the zoo October 31st. All parents are welcome to come. To be a chaperone you just have to log your driver's license in the office. Permission slips will come home this week. Thanks!
Zoo Trip T-shirts: Please send $5 for your child's zoo t-shirt no later than Wednesday, October 18th. Also, include your child's t-shirt size. If you have any questions let me know. Thank you!
Class Work: I have started sending home all incomplete work from the previous week stapled in your child's Bee Binder. You will get it on Wednesday. You re welcome to have students complete the work, but there is no need to return it. There is extra math practice on the back of the math packet labeled homework. Thanks!
Homework: I have only had 3 requests for student homework packets. After October those students are the only ones who will receive the paper packet. If you would like for your child to still receive the paper homework packets in addition to i-Ready and Smartyants computer programs, please let me know. Remember, as a result of our change, homework packets no longer need to be turned in. If you have any trouble accessing the computerized systems, let me know so I can report them to our IT person. Thanks!
Smartyants & iReady: Information on how to access Smarty ants and iReady has been sent. We are working to correct the few issues I have received. Make sure you are using a desktop or laptop computer not a tablet or your phone. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Box Tops: Please send in any box tops you may have at school. You can also enlist the help of friends and family members to donate box tops. This helps us to replace and purchase things for our classroom we desperately need. Thank you!
