6th graders voted for 3 Homecoming attendants. The winners are Jenah
Cooper, Morgan Trent, and Tatum Trent. Congratulations, girls! These girls
selected their escorts for the Homecoming game, which will be held on Tuesday,
October 4, 2011. GO, WARRIORS!
We just returned from our fall field trip to Camp Explore in Greene County,
TN. We had a fun time learning and enjoying the great outdoors. The staff at
Camp Explore kept us busy from morning to night so we returned very tired, but
happy. My homeroom group, the Coyotes, earned about cooperative group
dynamics on the ropes course and were very successful at many activities. We
had lots of laughs and some challenges. Thank you, parents, for sending your
child on an unforgettable adventure.
The first grading period is rapidly coming to an end. Students, another
reminder that you must have read and taken the test on one Reading Counts
books by 3:00 pm on Friday, October 7, 2011. See criteria listed below.
