I attended Iowa State University for 3 years, then transferred to the
University of Tennessee in Knoxville. I graduated with a B.S. in Elementary
Education. I have also received a Master's degree in Education from Tusculum
College. I
have taught in Knox County Schools, Hamblen County Schools, and now here at
RCS. I love being a part of a school built on a tradition of excellence.
As of this summer, I am the proud grandmother of Emerson Grace, daughter of my
son, Jesse, and his wife, Cristin. Jesse is completing his 5th year of
residency in orthopedic surgery. I also have another son, Daniel, who is in
his second year of residency.
I have many hobbies, but enjoy being with my family the most.
