SHHS Lions....a decade of ROARING toward excellence.
The 2011-2012 school year marks the 10th year in our new facility. We will be celebrating all year long and invite you to join with us as we continue to roar toward excellence!

Message from the Principal

Principal Photo
"Once A Lion, Always A Lion"....these words are scripted on the latest of our spirit shirts. As I reflect on that statement, I am mindful of how important our past is...SHHS has been a rock in south Henderson County for many decades. Countless people have passed through the halls of SHHS and can attribute their success, in part, to the time spent at SHHS. Thank you to each SHHS alumnus who continues to support the work "on the hill." This statement also makes me think about the future. A lion is strong and is greater than all others in the animal kingdom; therefore, I want each student who is here and each who will attend to grow in strength and to grow in greatness...GO LION PRIDE!
Mr. J. Brian Norton
