This is my thirteenth year teaching in the DeKalb County School System, and I
grow more excited about my job as each year passes. Each year, I meet new
students with new challenges and happy smiles, while remembering all the
students who touched my life over the years. Each class is different: No
one better than the other, just filled with new experiences and challenges.
So far, this year is off to a great start! It seems once again, I have an
extremely exceptional group of children in my class. Thank you, parents, for
sharing them with me, and allowing me the joy of working with them each

I received a Bs in Elementary Education from Middle Tennessee State
University in 1992, and a MA in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee
Technological University in 2002.
