This is my 15th year teaching in Memphis City Schools. I am
married and have two children. Amanda is 9 and will be in 4th grade this
year. Ryan is 4 years old. In addition to
teaching history, I am the Yearbook sponsor, History Club co-sponsor, and
Make-A-wish organizer.
During this year the 8th grade team would like to help your child prepare
for high school. Our focus this year is Demonstrating Respect,
Responsibility and Restraint. Instruction in class will complement these
goals. Content wise we will focus on the period from European exploration
through Civil War Reconstruction. TCAP skills activities will be infused
throughout the year.
