ABOUT THE TEACHER:
My name is Ms. Debbie Abbott, and this is my twelfth year teaching First
Grade at Spring Hill School. I absolutely love teaching children at this age
because they are so eager to learn. I look forward to working with you and
your child this year.
I graduated from Peabody High School in 1982. I received my Bachelor Degree
in Education in 1990. Prior coming to Spring Hill School, I taught Head
Start for eight years.
I have a "soon to be" twenty-one year old son, Matthew, who is currently a
Junior at the University of Tennessee at Martin majoring in Chemistry and
minoring in Biology. He is an only child and my greatest accomplishment.

child's progress! We are a team and I look forward to meeting each of you
and watching your child grow and learn.
