How often do I sign my child's red communication folder?

Parents are to sign the red communication folders nightly.  This is a great
tool to use for communication.  It also allows me to know that you saw your
child's papers.  I check folders every morning.

How much is snack per week?

Our class goes to snack once a day. Students are to bring one snack and one
drink from home.  Students can purchase ice cream ONLY on Fridays, which costs
50 cents.  You may send this money at any time during the week.  Also, you can
pay by the week or by the month.

Can students buy snacks from school?

No, the snacks must come from home.  Each child needs 1 snack and 1 drink per
day except on Friday.  On Friday, students can purchase ice cream for 50 cents.

Does my child have to wear tennis shoes for P.E.?

YES!  Students must wear tennis shoes on the days we have P.E. or he/she will
not be able to participate.  Students have P.E. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Will my child have homework in Kindergarten?

Yes, your child will have small amounts of homework.  The homework should not
take over 10 minutes to complete.  Students will have homework EVERY Wednesday
night.  Students are to read the book and parents are to sign the book
indicating that your child read the book to you.  
*Students will need crayons, pencils, scissors, and glue at home to complete
some homework assignments.
