I recieved a degree in Graphic Design from APSU and later went back and
recieved a second degree in Art Education at MTSU. I have been teaching art
in the classroom for 10 years. Seeing students develope in personal skills
and art appreciation continues to delight me!
Our goals for art class this year are to see and create art from around the
world and to use elements of design in creating our own art works. Students
will have the opportunity to use a variety of materials in making art. We
will study about various artists, art styles and techniques for art
appreciation that will enhance the student's personal skill developement. We
will incorporate skills of problem soving and working across the curriculum
to also enrich overall student learning in their classroom subjects.
