HOMEWORK POLICY

Homework is a vital part of education. The purpose of homework is to reinforce the skills being learned in class. I will only send homework that has been discussed and practiced at school. I ask that you review your child's homework each night. I understand that sometimes your child may need a little help with homework. I want you to be involved in your child's education and provide help when needed, but I also want your child to become independent. My expectation is that the homework is completed each night neatly and completely. Please allow your child to use a pencil for all writing assignments. Homework should be returned to school in your child's folder each day. Please clean out your child's folder on a nightly basis. I hold high expectations for your child's homework and I ask that you do the same. I understand that you are the most important person in your child's life, and that is why I am asking for your assistance.
