Discipline Plan

Rules

1. Follow directions the 1st time given.

2. Listen during instruction.

3. Stay in assigned place.

4. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

5. Use a quiet voice.

6. Talk at appropriate times.

If a student chooses to break a rule:

1st time: yellow stick- warning

2nd time: 1 red stick- 5 minutes “time out”

3rd time: 2 red sticks- 10 minutes “time out”(in another classroom)

4th time: 3 red sticks- Notify parents

5th time: 4 red sticks- Sent to principal

Severe Disruption- Sent to principal

Students who behave appropriately will be positively rewarded with praise, awards, note to parents, special privileges, stickers, or treats. Students will also earn green sticks for appropriate behavior. So, ask your child how many green sticks they have each day. It is in your child’s best interest that we work together with regard to his or her education. I will keep you informed of your child's behavior on a regular basis.
