About The Teacher

I am one of the original teachers at Stoner Creek.  I have taught 
Kindergarten 
for the last 13 years.  I taught second grade before that.  Stoner Creek has 
been my only permanent teaching position. 

I attended Dupont High School in Hermitage and graduated from David Lipscomb 
University.  I have three children, Brittney, Andy and Bonnie. They all 
enjoy a variety of sports and keep me very busy.
I have lived in Tennessee my entire life.  I am a true Southern Belle.  My 
favorite book is "Gone With the Wind", so much that one of my daughters' 
name is 
Bonnie Blue.
In my spare time I like to read, shop and watch my children play sports.  
You 
will usually find me at the ballpark.  My favorite place to be is at the 
beach.  A perfect day for me would be to sit in my sand chair with a good 
book and listen to the waves.

Mission For The Class

My mission for my class is to have the best year possible.  I hope that the 
children will grow in many ways, not just academically.  I plan on giving 
them everything that I can so that they will become good first graders and 
good citizens for life.  I hope to instill in them a love for learning.
