SCIENCE CLASS INFORMATION:

Study Island Atmosphere and Climate has been added. It is due December 17th.

There will be a QUIZ on Thursday, December 3rd. The following topics will be covered:

All moon phases- there will be pictures of moons and the students need to identify which stage of the moon it is.

A non-food product made from an animal is leather

Define the water cycle

Know the order of the Earth, sun, and moon in a lunar and solar eclipse

Be able to explain erosion, evaporation, condenstation, and precipitation

Be able to list non-renewable and renewable resources

Know that fabrics can be made from plants

Be able to name a human activity that causes soil erosion

Know the force that causes an object to orbit another object in space

Define what could have caused a winding ditch in a field

Know the difference between weather and climate

What process could make a sand dune

What causes the moon to have phases

What landform results from erosion from glaciers

Know the water cycle song

We are working on the water cycle, climate, and weather. We encourage each child to watch the weather forecast each day, come to class and explain to us what theheard/read. For each day they have the forecast written down and turned in, they will receive extra credit points. The temperature and precipitation chances are all they need on the paper.

Please continue to look in your child's agenda each day for assignments and projects.
