On this page I will be sharing thoughts with you from 180 Days of Character, by Donna B. Forrest, Ed.S. (Parents please share and discuss these with your child) I will add to these regularly (almost daily) but leave the old ones for awhile before removing them. I hope you enjoy these and check this icon regularly.
Your good character can never be taken away from you by anyone but you!!
- No one can give you good character OR take good character away from you.
- If you exercise and practice good character, your good character becomes stronger (just like your muscles become stronger when you exercise them).
- ___________(your name) is in charge of __________'s good character.
Good character traits can become good life habit!
- Habits are things we repeat over and over.
- If you practice good character traits (such as honesty, respect, responsibilty, courage, kindness, etc...) then these traits become life habits.
- Good character habits help us with negative peer pressure (you can say "no" faster since your good character has become a habit).
Your character is who you really are inside yourself.
- You control the kind of person you want to be - no one else.
- Practicing good character allows greater peace in your heart.
- Only you know what you expect of yourself and your actions.
