May 23rd all minutes must be totaled for the Read to Me wrap up celebration
May 26th no school (holiday)
May 27th full day of school
May 28th full day of school
May 29th no school (teacher work day)
May 30th 1/2 day of school end of year
This Thursday is our field trip to several of the Morgan County service
facilities. We will leave school at 8:45 and return to school at 3:15.
Please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for the trip as it
might be cool that morning. Remember we are going to a park. Please make
sure that your child wears tennis shoes to avoid injury. Student should not
bring anything except a light jacket on this trip. Please do not send
anything else with your student; this includes backpacks and homework
folders. No toys, purses, hats or games will be allowed on the trip. Lunch
will be provided on this trip for all students. We will eat lunch at Frozen
Head State Park about 12:00. Pizza, drinks, and snacks have all been
purchased for the students.
Don't forget our reward provided by the school to those who do not miss a day
of school from now until the end of May. Please try to attend school daily
so that you can earn that reward. To earn this reward means no absences, no
tardies, and no early dismissals.
All students who have read 1,000 or more minutes will be rewarded in our Read
to Me wrap up celebration on May 23rd. Please help our class by totaling all
the minutes read from Jan. - April in your child's homework folder. Write
the total on the bottom of each month.
All box tops need to be sent in as soon as possible!
Hat day is every Friday. The cost to wear a hat on Friday is .50.
