My name is Tina Hollinghead. I graduated from Tennessee Technological
University with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education (PreK-3). I
have been teaching for 11 years, all but one of those years have been at
TPES. I have taught Kindergarten, K-1, and second grade. I am currently
working on getting my Master's degree in Instructional Leadership from TTU.
I am married to Chris Hollinghead and have 3 WONDERFUL kids: Jaden,
Landon, and Isaac. They are the love of my life. We attend New Providence
Missionary Baptist Church. We also live on a farm here in Tellico and enjoy
taking care of our goats, cows, cats, a mule, turkeys, chickens, and our pony
Cupcake. The newest addition to our farm is a puppy named Gracie. My family
loves being outside playing basketball, baseball, softball, and any
other sports.
I love teaching Kindergarten and seeing the kids' faces light up as
they learn something new. I grew up in Tellico Plains and am very proud to be
teaching at my former elementary school. I feel as though I am giving back to
the community what so many wonderful teachers instilled in me as a child.

Idol, Criminal Minds, Food Network, and of course cartoons on
Boomerrang and Disney channel.
If your child is placed in my Kindergarten classroom, then I can make
certain guarantees to you. I will do my best to instill a love of learning
and a love of school in your child. I will also guarantee to provide a safe
learning environment where your child will learn to his/her fullest
potential. I will do my best to make all learning fun, hands-on, and stick
with them forever. I will promise to set high goals for your child to
reach and I will make every effort to help them reach those goals.
