I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas & a Happy New Year! I enjoyed spending time with my family. I also enjoyed the time off to relax and to sleep late! But, it is time to get back to 1st grade again. When we return to school on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 we will be working hard to continute to improve our reading. I will be focusing on fluency and reading rate with your child. To help your child improve in both these areas, have them re-read past reading stories. Allow them to read from a variety of sources.
