My name is Micki Walker. I was born and raised in Tellico Plains. I
celebrated my nineteenth wedding anniversary this summer with my wonderful
husband Mark. I have two amazing children, Mason and Kobe. I have been
teaching for fifteen years. This will be my thirteenth year teaching first
grade. Here are some fun facts about me!
My favorite color is pink...oh ya I am a girly girl!
One of my hobbies is scrapbooking.
My favorite place to eat is the O'Charley's.
My favorite flower is the sunflower.
Things I enjoy doing is camping, running, & biking.
My mission for the class is to enjoy learning. I want my class to
enjoy coming to school where they feel safe and secure. I provide a
friendly face and a listening ear to my students.
My desire for my students is for each one of them to become fluent-
lifelong readers.
