I was born and raised in Cumberland Furnace and went to school at CES. I
graduated from Dickson County High School in 1999. I attended the University
of Tennessee at Martin for 2 years and transferred to Austin Peay State
University where I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary education in
2004. I have taught both 4th and 5th grades.
I got married in 2001 to Trent Cunningham. Since then, we have had 3
children, Jackson, 6 1/2, Macy Kate and Mady Jo, 2 1/2.
My mission as a teacher is to provide every child who enters my classroom an
education that will take them wherever they choose to go in life. I am a
very hard worker and I expect the same from my students. In return, they
will achieve more than they thought possible and have a pretty good time
doing it!
