READING:
Read in accelerated reader nightly and please have an adult initial and write how many times you have read.
Mon.- Thurs. Read weekly story in basil reader.
Mon.- Thurs. review vocabulary
SPELLING:
Mon.- Wed. Study words on the back of the weekly homework schedule in your black binder.
Ways to study for spelling:
See, Say, Spell, Write, and Check using paper, dry erase makers, magnets, etc.
Write spelling words 5 or 10 times.
Build the words with blocks or magnets.
Pretest on Thursday! If you don't make an A on the pretest, study the words missed for test on Friday.
MATH:
Mon.- Fri. Review classwork and correct any mistakes.
Mon.- Fri. Choose ONE of the following sugestions to work on.
Study math vocabulary.
Review addition and subtraction facts.
Using: dominos, dice, number cubes, and number cards
Skip counting by 2's, 5's, 10's
Count forward and backward starting at any number from 0-100
