Dear Parents,
There are only 6 ˝ school days left in this school year. It has been such a
pleasure to work with your child and you this year. I appreciate all your
help and support throughout this year. You each have been a blessing to me
and I will always remember your child. Thanks!
Spring Pictures are in today’s folder.
There are still yearbooks available if you would like to purchase one.
All library books were due on Friday. If your child still has a book, it
needs to be returned ASAP or paid for before they can receive their grade
card next Friday. Cafeteria charges are in folders today. These need to be
paid at once! Your child will not receive their grades card until this has
been paid.
Please make note of these changes to your May school calendar for 2007-2008
school year: May 26 will be a holiday, May 27 and May 28 will be full days
of school, May 29 will be an Administrative Day, and May 30 will be a ˝ day
and the last day of school for the year.
Remember, NO SCHOOL on Monday and Thursday of next week. Friday is only a ˝
day.
We are going to try to go to the city park on Thursday. Please send a bottle
of water for your child with his/her name on the bottle. If something
happens and we cannot go on Thursday, we will go on Tuesday of next week.
On Wednesday afternoon, I would like for the students to have a “water
balloon party.” I usually have the students bring in filled water balloons
and what they bring is what we will use. They will not be allowed to fill
balloons here at school. It will be necessary for the balloons to be filled
at home and sent in on Wednesday morning for the party on that afternoon.
