This is my twelth year to teach Art at Watertown Elementary School. I am
proud to work under the direction of Anita Christian as principal and Cheryl
Ellison as assistant principal.
My motto is to "love the children first, teach them second".
I have some very talented students this year and have enjoyed spurring them
on with encouraging remarks and collaboration on their projects.
If at any time you as a parent would like to attend Art class with your
child, I would be most happy to see you. All I ask is that you please let
me know in advance at least 2 weeks. I also have to fill out a form to alert
the office personnel that you will be coming up to my room (502). The two
weeks notice will help me to have a project that you could easily share
together with your child. Looking forward to seeing you! And thanks for
loaning your child to me for a little while.
The mission of Watertown Elementary School Art is to encourage students to
enjoy, to understand, and to participate in art activities or projects that
will enhance their love for "Art" throughout their lives.
