Hello!! I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year. It will be
fun and very busy for all of us. I hope your child leaves my classroom with
a love for school.
Here's a little bit about me. I was born and raised in a small town Athens,
in East Tennessee. I graduated from a very small private college,
Tennessee Wesleyan College. There I earned a B.S. degree in Elementary
Education and obtained my Pre-K Certification.
I live in Lebanon with my husband Zach and our dog Cooper. We attend Round
Lick Baptist Church in Watertown, TN. When I am not teaching, I love
cooking, scrapbooking, traveling, and spending time with family and
friends.
This is my second teaching in Wilson County Schools. I was
previously a substitute teacher in McMinn County Tennessee Schools before
finishing my B.S. degree. Before moving to Watertown Elementary, I taught
Pre-K at The Gardner School in Nashville.
I hope you and your child has a great year with me in Pre-K!
My mission for this class is for each child to learn to his or her fullest
potential and have a good time learning it. I want for your child to have a
memorable year in my classroom and leave my class with a love for learning!
