The Family Resource Center is open every day from 8:00-3:30. Please stop in
and check out books, games, videos, etc. that your family will enjoy at home.
Watch for family nights sponsored by YOUR FRC throughout the school year.
"25 Nights of Reading" is ongoing. Students in grades PK-4 participate in
this program by keeping reading logs at home. Just write the date you
and your child read together at home on the reading log. When all 25 slots
are full, send the log in to your child's teacher and your child will
receive a FREE book and a new reading log. If your child needs a reading
log, just ask his/her teacher. Happy reading!!!
Our fourth annual Young Authors Spotlight at Watertown Elementary School is
scheduled for Thursday, February 26. All students who wrote books for the
Young Authors Conference at Cumberland University are invited to share their
stories. Author Amy Parker will be our keynote speaker this year. We are
very excited about this year's YAS!
Active Parenting of Teens Parenting Class will be presented at Watertown
Elementary School on Tuesday, February 17 and Thursday, February 19
beginning at 5:00 each night. This class is great for parents of students
in grades 5-8. We hope to see you there!
