Your child's social skills are a very important aspect of development. You
can help develop these skills by providing opportunities for your child to
interact with other children his/her age. While many opportunities are
provided in the school setting, many more can be offered away from school.
Some ideas include arranging playdates; participating in baseball,
basketball, football or another sport; and attending community functions.
