I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

4 - 8 Book Fair Begins 11-30-09 in 4 - 8 Library

Geography Bee Wednesday, December 2.

Each student is required to take his/her agenda book and homework folder home 
every single night.  Please ask to see these each night.

Also, students are being rewarded for showing me parent signatures stating 
that they studied their multiplications the night before.

Don't forget to save your "Box Tops For Education" and bring them to our 
class!

4-H MEETING:        Wednesday, 12-2-09        BRING POSTERS (required)
 
4-H Project Due- Wednesday, December 2, 2009.  This is a Poster Project about 
4-H.  14" X 22".  It must be horizontal.  Do not paste anything on it thicker 
than 1/8". (thickness of a nickel).  Please place student’s Name and Homeroom 
teacher on BACK SIDE in the bottom right-hand corner.  All students are 
required to do a poster.  If they do not wish to participate in 4-H they just 
give their posters to me for their SCIENCE grade.

Mrs. McAllister will be teaching Silent Night with sign language.  Please  
email her mcallistera@wcschools.com (or call the school and leave her a 
message) if you do not wish for your child to learn this.

As the holiday season approaches, music class will be learning about 
different songs and customs from many different cultures.  They will be 
studying Kwanzaa, Christian, Secular, and Jewish holiday traditions and songs 
among others.  If you do not wish for your child to take part in these 
studies, they may email Mrs. McAllister or call the school and leave her a 
message.

4th Grade Students may bring in blank CDs to get copies of the recorder 
karate music as well as for the songs they are working on in class.
