I am excited to be the instructor for the Algebra 1 One Semester Class this semester.  Please refer to your Classroom Expectations if you have questions regarding class policies and procedures.  The Syllabus lets you know what we will be covering for the upcoming weeks.  If you have any questions or need additional instruction call me to set up a tutoring appointment with the Denominators Math Club.

This course will make math come alive with its many intirguing examples of algebra in the world around you. This course is designed to present a logical development as a first course in algebra that emphasizes basic concepts, skills, and fundamental operations. Students will explore mathematical concepts that are foundational for success in passing the Tennessee Mathematics Gateway Test as well as provide a foundation for future mathematics courses as well as the ACT Exam.

OPTIONAL   GRADE: Don't forget to be working on the Prentice Hall companion site in the sections where we are working in class. ALL   of those activities can be optional grades if printed off and turned in.
