First of all, I must say that I am THRILLED to teach fifth grade
at West Elementary! I fell in love with the family atmosphere when I
student taught here, and I am proud to call West Elementary my professional
home.
I've always loved children and teaching in other capacities, so at the age
of 38, I decided to go back to college to obtain licensure as an elementary
teacher.
I have worked with children and youth in many capacities which include, but
are not limited to: coaching, teaching children and youth at church,
facilitating a regional girls camp, serving as a room parent, working as a
special education aide, being an aunt to over 25 nieces and nephews, and
rearing three fabulous daughters.
My husband of 24 years teaches Spanish at MTSU and abroad in the summers,
taking American students to Spain and Mexico. Our daughters, son-in-law,
and I hope to follow him in 2010 for another family adventure in central
Mexico.
Our youngest daughter graduated from Lebanon High School this summer, and is
joining her two older sisters at MTSU. (Thank goodness for scholarships!)
Please don't hesitate to contact me should you have questions or concerns.

our classroom.
