APRIL:
Walk for West: April 30th is the day to put on your sneakers and get walking
with the kids of West. Support your kids and our school at the same time,
while encouraging healthy exercise in a fun way. Come join the fun and cheer
them on, be a lap marker, provide drinks, or walk with them. Everyone is
welcome!
Ongoing Fundraiser Opportunities
Pennies for Playground-We would appreciate any pennies or loose change you
can spare for our new playground. Thank you to all who donated already. We
have deposited $371.83 this week from our playground pennies. For every
$1000.00 raised we can earn a dress down day. Thank you for any donation you
can give. Pictures of the new playground are hanging up around the school
walls.
Labels for Education- send in labels from Campbell's Soup products
(Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers, V8 Spalsh Beverages, etc.). Simply cut
off the UPC Label that says "Labels for Education." The labels are redeemed
for educational materials for our school. We earned over 10,000 points last
year and will be getting FREE materials/games for the school with your
Campbell soup labels. Check back later to see what was chosen. Thank you so
much for all you do for West Elementary!
Box Tops- cut off many grocery items. Send those in and West will receive
10 cents per top!
Kroger Gift Cards- purchase a pre-loaded $5 gift card from West Elementary
(for $5) and everytime you re-load that card West Elementary will receive 4%
of every dollar you load on that card! You can also opt to have 2% of each
dollar loaded onto the card to go to a specific classroom teacher or
teachers. All the teachers greatly appreciate this money added to their
account for classroom supplies for your children.
