CDC-Kelso

Our CDC staff this year consists of Vanetta E. Kelso, Dana
DuBrule, Michael Glover and Lynn Vander Naald.

Thank you for your continued support throughout this exciting school year.
Your child’s educational experiences have included academic and life skills
designed individually to meet his needs. We acknowledge that learning is not
confined to the classroom and have welcomed opportunities to attend
activities outside of the classroom setting which have added to the learning
experience.

Our community will become our extended classroom as students engage in a
wide variety of activities while on field trips. In addition, the community
is also invited to share its knowledge and expertise with our students.

You will need to continue to sign your child’s daily report sheets and
return it to school. Your child will earn points for this every day.

Together, we can continue to work to inspire your child to be resourceful,
respectful and responsible citizens.

The next field trip will be Friday, May 2, 2008. We will tour WATE TV station and learn how the news, weather and sports are produced. We will also tour The Asheville Highway Animal Clinic and see how animals receive medical treatment and to see other special equipment used to keep animals healthy.
