#12=There are 24 world time zones. There are 4 contiguous USA time zones. The USA time zones are: Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific.

Notes: we live in Central Zone; there is 1 hour added for each zone as you move East and 1 hour subtracted for each zone as you move West.

If it is 8:00 AM in Mt. Juliet, then it is 9:00 AM in New York, 7:00AM in Denver, and 6:00AM in Los Angeles

Contiguous means joined in a boundary; 48 states
