Students will begin vocabulary unit 10 and DGP 14. Students will also review
analogies and parts of speech.
3/26 A/B Day
Students will continue vocabulary unit 10 and take a quiz over DGP 14.
Students will also review punctuation in class.
3/29 - 3/30 A and B Day
Students will complete vocabulary unit 10. Students will also review
analogies, combining sentences, punctuating titles, and apostrophes in
class. Vocabulary test next class!!
3/31 - 4/1 A and B Day
Students will check vocabulary unit 10 and test over vocabulary unit 10.
Students will review primary and secondary sources and analogies in class.
4/5 - 4/6 A and B Day
Students will begin vocabulary unit 11 and DGP 15. Students will also review
analogies, deductive and inductive reasoning, and false premise.
4/7 - 4/8 A and B Day
Students will continue vocabulary unit 11 and DGP 15. Students will also
review analogies and bias / stereotyping.
4/9 A/B Day
Students will continue vocabulary unit 11 and take a quiz over DGP 15.
Students will review analogies.
4/12 - 4/13 A and B Day
Students will continue vocabulary unit 11 and begin DGP 16. Students will
review analogies and the TCAP practice test.
4/14 - 4/15 A and B Day
Students will check vocabulary unit 11 and take the vocabulary test.
Students will continue DGP 16, analogies review, and TCAP review.
4/16 A/B Day
Students will take a quiz over DGP 16, review analogies, and have time to ask
any last minute TCAP questions.

TCAP Testing
Students will begin reading the play version of "The Diary of Anne Frank" and
will begin vocabulary unit 12.
4/26 - 4/27 A and B Day
Students will continue vocabulary unit 12 and "Anne Frank."
4/28 - 4/29 A and B Day
Students will check vocabulary unit 12, take the unit 12 test, and
continue "Anne Frank."

Students will read "A Tragedy Revealed" on pp 418-432 in the Lit. book.

Students will view a video about Holocaust survivors.

Students will begin "Freedom Writers" in class.
