This year marks the 14th anniversary of my teaching career. I have two
degrees from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN. My
Bachelor of Arts degree is in English and my Bachelor of Science degree is
in Secondary Education with an English emphasis.
I have taught every grade level from 6th through 12th with the exception
of 7th.
I believe students will rise to the expectations set by the teacher,
and I expect great things. I love what a I do!
I grew up in Livingston, Tennessee, and went to Livingston Academy. I am a
first generation college graduate. I am married and have four children
ranging from age twelve (12) to twenty-four (24). I currently live in Lebanon
and attend church at College Hills Church of Christ.
I look forward to meeting you and working to make your child's education the
best that it can be!
I love the English language, and I love literature. I can't make your child
love them, but my mission is to introduce them to a new way of thinking
about both. I want to walk with them through the process guiding them and
cheering them on with your help and support!
