We are always excited about the students in our classroom.
The Comprehensive Development Class is led by Terry Campbell, along with Coach Elvin Chandler, Don Breedwell and Lisa Brandon as the Para-Professional Educators. The teacher-pupil ratio is low, so we are able to provide teaching and assistance to each student at their individual learning style and pace. Student levels range from non-verbal to regular high school diploma level.
Our core subjects include daily math, English, writing, social and behavior skills, as well as physical education, science and history. Wilson Central High School has distinguished itself among other mid-state schools as a leader in academics, athletics, and all facets of school life.
By providing a strong academic program, students may pursue regular, honors, and Advanced Placement courses in the core subject areas.
Wilson Central High School is a member of the TSSAA and provides a rich Athletic program, including the following sports: fall sports-- football, volleyball, cross country, girls' soccer, golf; winter sports--basketball, wrestling, and bowling; spring sports--baseball, softball, track, tennis, boys' soccer. Additionally, students may participate in ice hockey and swim as club sports.
We are home to thriving business, theatre and art programs both during the academic study time and after school club programs.
We invite you to tour our website and to keep checking back regularly for the updates and information that occur in our classroom.
