Welcome to my first grade class! My name is Beth Price and I have taught at
Algood for 13 years--5 years in 1st grade and 8 years of kindergarten. I
have 3 children. Their names are Josh-age 21, Amanda-age 18 and Alex-age
15.
My hobbies include: sewing, reading, hiking and camping and having fun with
friends. I am active in my church-Brotherton Missionary Baptist.
This summer I have enjoyed staying home and working in my garden and taking
some day hikes in the Big South Fork Park.
My husband, Wayne, of 23 years is a network administrator for a company in
Lebanon.
I look forward to a great year and can't wait to get to know your children!
It is my mission for each child to succeed-- socially and academically.
First grade is a hard transition for most students and it is my goal to see
that moving from Kindergarten to 1st grade is fun and exciting! Learning
will be fun creative and engaging with emphasis on small group work and lots
of independent practice!
