I earned a Master of Arts Degree, specialized in Curriculum and Instruction
from Tenneessee Technological University, August 2007. I earned a Bachelor
of Science Degree, specialized in Elementary Education grades 1 through 8
from Tennessee Technological University, December 2001. I have taught at
Algood School for the past 7 1/2 years. I have participated for the past six
years in the Middle School Partnership Grant sponsored by the STEM Center at
Tennessee Technological University. I have taught at the middle school level
for most of my teaching profession. I am an active member of NCTM - National
Council of Teachers of Mathematics, NSTA - National Science Teachers
Association, and NMSA - National Middle School Association.
My mission for your child is for he or she to have a positive experience at
Algood School. My goal is to actively engage your child in learning
each day in the classroom. Mathematics is a part of our everyday world and I
want to share the fun, exciting, and interesting world of learning with your
child.
